Yes it uses a standard Micro-B port to charge. If you use the supplied AC to USB adapter it will charge at full speed, if you use a standard PC USB port it will charge slower. If you use a USB3.0 PC USB port, it will charge faster.

I think it depends on what you're using it for. I agree that the tilt needs to be very specific if you are watching a movie or TV show but for general use I haven't seen too many issues.

My guess is that they want you to not view it "from above", so to speak. They want you looking at it from a shallower angle rather than a deep angle. I definitely don't think yours is defective though.

Everything looks great on mine WITH the optimal viewing angle, which is fairly narrow. If there's a way to look at it and everything looks good, then it's normal. But it's not made to be viewed sideways.

answer 7
This tablet is directional as pointed out. For example, the bottom is defined by the side with the buttons. Holding it the other way around means when holding it parallel to your face, the bottom half of the screen is washed out. Turning it so the buttons are on the bottom and the viewing problem is solved. When in landscape view, the bottom is defined by the side without the camera. So as long as the camera is in the top right corner, you are good. Otherwise it washes out very quickly. As far as shimmering goes, you may be seeing the refresh rate of the screen. I have not seen any shimmering in any of the 3 that have been purchased by myself or friends.

Haven't noticed the problem on either of the two I own, but they are very directional. You have to be looking dead on to the screen. If it does become 'wavey' I'd have MC check it.

Definitely not through bluetooth, because this does not have bluetooth capability natively, though there may be some additional component you can buy to allow for it.

I think you might be able to plug one in the micro USB slot. That seems like a simple enough thing to do, though I haven't tried so I don't know for sure.

There's no Bluetooth in this tablet, so you'd have to connect through the micro-USB charging port. I don't see anything in the Aztec's settings to tell it to look for such accessories. Strictly speaking, yes, you could definitely connect a keyboard, but it's unlikely that the tablet would recognize it.

answer 4
I use the Inland case that MicroCenter sells. (search "Azpen case") It holds the tablet very securely, and with the case closed, the tablet seems well-protected. My only quibble is that it feels a little heavy and it's not as good at folding to a display stand as I'd like it to be.

Another way to look at the question is to consider how much a high-quality OtterBox case typically costs. As an example, for the price of the OtterBox iPad mini Defender Case, you could buy another Azpen A700 tablet AND an Inland case for it. If you're that worried, maybe you should buy a second A700 as a backup.

Much cheaper to buy the extended warranty/damage protection than to buy an Otterbox. In fact, an Otterbox case would cost more than the tablet itself. Just buy an extra tablet.

Yes. The file manager should find them, movies, and music. I've had to transfer books from the external SD card ("extsd" on the file manager) to the internal SD ("sd" on the file manager) one at a time to get a e-reader app to find those.

It will take a Micro SD and you can view them with a file viewer. Standard practice with these is to have the SD card formatted with an NTFS file system so the card can be put in a PC. I've transferred files between my Asus tablet and the PC and this tablet and the PC that way. I installed ES File Explorer and I can access my PC's drives directly and I copied files that way too. In fact, when I went to a graphics folder on the PC, ES displayed thumbnails.

It does take a few seconds to completely resolve the picture, especially on higher quality photos.
